In addition, the Service Administrative Assistant has a strong attention to detail, organization, and communication which allows for successful warranty processing.
Essential Duties Ability to work within a diverse workforce; maintain a professional business appearance, demeanor and neat workspace.
Arrive to work on time and job ready.
Understand, as a representative of the company, high level work standards are required at all times in both service and behavior.
Maintain a positive attitude and participate in training and coaching.
Work with Service Manager to ensure professional, timely, and accurate delivery of services and communication from the department to customers.
Assist with service department phone calls ensuring customers are receiving prompt communication which includes calling customers when vehicle is ready for pick up.
Maintain the Recall Waitlist.
Schedule express and vehicle recall service appointments.
Assist with reception and the rental fleet.
Assist with WrenchWay marketing by keeping the platform up to date with dealership promotion and recruitment.
Process factory warranty claims and keep the service manager apprised of the claim status.
Submit and fax all aftermarket warranty and fleet maintenance claims.
Remain current on all dealership required training and certifications.
Participate in both department and dealership meetings.
Work with Reynolds & Reynolds regarding software challenges which may arise.
Perform other duties as assigned and adapt as needed.
Qualifications:
Valid Washington State Driver's License or equivalent.
All licenses must be converted to a Washington State License within 30 days of employment.
Driving record in good standing Experience in relating effectively with co-workers, supervisors, customers, vendors and the general public.
1-2 year experience in a fast-paced environment with deadlines.
