Enhances attorney effectiveness by drafting and reviewing documents, communicating with clients, preparing hearings, trials, and meetings, and organizing and maintaining files.

Receives and screens visitors and telephone calls Schedules and arranges meetings and conferences and notifies interested parties Docket cases, process information, record notices of hearings or postponements, correspondence, reports, and other data Produce legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, opinions, complaints, administrative decisions, orders, and subpoenas from verbal or written instructions Proofreads and corrects prepared materials for correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, format, and content Inputs, retrieves, updates, and deletes information using computerized databases Logs, dockets, and schedules hearings; prepares notices of hearings and sends to interested parties Composes routine letters and memoranda and prepares reports using knowledge of work area instructions and guidelines Reviews legal documents to ensure they are in proper format and contain all necessary portions or related documents for court acceptance, files legal documents with proper courts Prepares and assembles materials, documents, and exhibits for meetings, court appearances, and hearings Establishes and maintains office files, logs, indices, legal references, control records, and other information in connection with the work under the control of the assigned Attorney Operates standard office equipment such as copiers, scanners, calculators, facsimile machines, etc Performs related work as assigned Assists in the preparation of financial reports, time keeping, and other personnel records :
Excellent writing and editing skills Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, county and court staff, and all levels of internal staff Ability to adapt to changing priorities and shift gears quickly Strong time management skills and able to prioritize and manage deadlines Demonstrate intermediate/advanced computer skills including word processing, Excel, and Outlook, and be open to learning new software applications Organized self-starter who is able to multi-task and work independently Exceptional customer service and willingness to problem solve Detail-oriented with exceptional follow through Job Type:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
