Full-time Valuplus Medical Supply is a growing company in downtown Wenatchee specializing in Durable Medical Equipment.
We are seeking a full-time person to assist in medical customer service.
Our team needs a highly detailed, hard-working, and versatile person to complement the rest of our staff.
The following are some of the general duties for this position.
Willing to train you if you are hired in these areas.
Customer Service Retail sales in medical supplies and equipment Handles telephone calls, distributes and documents the information appropriately.
Helps patients find the products they need.
Checking patient eligibility/coverage and obtaining pre-authorizations if needed Posting payments Answering patient or insurance billing inquiries Receives incoming orders for equipment and documents accordingly as well as contacting appropriate field personnel.
Inventory control Need to be able to lift 25 lbs.
Communicates with referral sources on an ongoing basis.
Education and Experience Required A high school diploma /GED prefer 1 year of experience in a medical office setting Strong computer skills including 10-key competency Problem-solving skills and the ability to multitask Prefer knowledge of general insurance guidelines Prefer familiarity with ICD-10 coding and terminology Effective communication and customer service abilities for phone as well as in person contact Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently Salary dependent on experience and expertise.
