What this role does:
Position is a HANDS on Supervisory role (only some desk work) overseeing approximately 15-20 production workers engaged in operating a variety of machines to manufacture polystyrene packaging for our community and the nation.
Creates schedules and ensures worker hours are accurate in timeclock system.
Evaluating, training, and coaching of team members in a skilled- based performance environment.
Assist in some mechanical work, TROUBLESHOOT and resolve work problems, and carry out other supervisory responsibilities to keep business moving.
Interfaces with other departments to ensure customer deadlines are met, quality inspections are done, and make suggestions for improvements, to ensure our customers received top-notch product.
Do you have:

years of production experience in a Supervisory role, in a manufacturing setting? Ability to work 2nd shift (3:
00 pm-11:
00pm).
Mechanical aptitude, processing and basic troubleshooting experience? A stable work history, strong work ethic & desire to learn/grow? A Can Do attitude with a proven track record of reliability? The ability to work on your feet and think fast in a fast paced environment? This is an Hourly paid position which sometimes requires attendance in meetings and catch-up work outside of normal scheduled hours.
Some weekends are required when working mandatory overtime.
